Yes! Highbanks is ADA compliant. From parking to restrooms, we have you covered!

Tours are by appointment only. We would love to show you the venue and discuss event details. Call or Text (812) 766-8016 or schedule a tour HERE.
Keep in mind, we are still under construction but we will do our absolute best to show you are vision.

To book an event, we will need a signed contract with a non-refundable down payment of the rental fee. This can all be done online or in-person.

You are able to pay online or in person. Cash, check, ACH or debit/credit cards are accepted.

We’ve made it easy! Wedding packages have the option to pay the full amount upfront or it can be broken down into three smaller payments with the option of auto-pay.
Payment 1: Non-refundable on the day of signing the contract.
Payment 2: Due 9 months before the event
Payment 3: Due 3 months before the event
A damage deposit (cash or check preferred for easy return) of $500 will be collected before the event.
The damage deposit will be returned within 14 days after the event provided no violations or damages occur.
Bar Package fee is separate and will be paid at the end of the night of the event.
If you book a wedding package less than 1 year in advance, we will adjust the payment structure to what works best for you.

For larger events, like weddings, we require a refundable damage deposit of $500.
For smaller events, we require a refundable damage deposit of $50-$300 depending on the event type.
The damage deposit will be returned within 14 days after the event provided no violations or damages occur.

All weddings at Highbanks are required to purchase event insurance. Non-Wedding events at Highbanks are only required to purchase insurance if alcohol is being served.
Any insurance agent can procure this policy for you. It is an additional layer of protection for our guests.
Highbanks must be listed as additionally insured.

You are only responsible for removing your personal items and decor. If we’ve arranged to purchase your decor for our Highbanks Decor Inventory program, we will take care of the rest!

As much as we love the look, confetti, glitter, rice, silly string, nails/tacks/glue/staples/duct tape and fog machines are not allowed. Fireworks and pyrotechnics of any kind are strictly prohibited on the premises of Highbanks. However, handheld sparklers are permitted in designated outdoor areas with prior approval from Highbanks.

Highbanks holds a full-service liquor license. All alcohol and bar packages must be purchased through Highbanks. Personal or BYOB alcohol of any kind is strictly prohibited and could result in the cancellation of your event. The bar package will be a separate fee from your venue rental.

Absolutely! Highbanks is an Open Vendor venue, with the exception of our bar services. We always suggest you use professional vendors to ensure your day runs smooth. We provide a list of Local Vendors to help with the planning process.

As much as we love them, please leave furry friends at home unless they’re part of the ceremony and approved in advance.

Yes! Highbanks offers on-site parking as well as a shuttle service to and from the venue. It’s a beautiful scenic stroll to the Venue, but sometimes heels and weather don’t cooperate.

Absolutely! Lake side or under our large covered porch. If the ceremony needs to be moved indoors, our staff will take care of flipping the venue for the reception.

Of course! If you choose The Elizabeth or The Sarah package, rehearsals are already built into your package.
